I'd like to introduce myself. I recently found this board while doing a search for anything on the 365 Pilothouse. I've had my 1980 Pilothouse hull #17 since 1992 and love it. I'm located on the western end of Lake Superior. I found the boat on Kent Island in the Chesapeake while looking at several other pilothouse designs. Flying home my wife kept saying "I really like that boat" so I figured it would be a good choice. There are four of the Pearson Pilothouse's now on this end of the lake. Another couple bought theirs after looking mine over during winter layup a few years ago. I posted a link to a picture.

Welcome aboard!
Actually, I have never seen a P365 pilot.  Could you post some interior pictures?  I am curious on the layout and how Pearson finished it off.
I hope as a group we will be helpful with whatever the subject.

I haven't taken any specific interior pictures, but here is a link that has copies of the brochures
I have the cabin torn apart right now. I'm replacing the countertop, quite a project, so it will be a while before it's photogenic! Of course the layout is a bit different but materials and finish is very similar.

Those look a bit rough, but it helps show the layout, and the engine under the cabin floor. I have the Westerbeke 50 which I think was the standard engine on the pilothouse.

One of the pictures from one of the links shows a nice shot of the engine.  It almost looks like a 6 cyl.  Yes/No?
Seems like the same boat forward of the bulkhead.
Thanks...

4 cyl, Westerbeke 50 (4-108) Borg Warner velvet drive transmission. Forward of the mast is pretty similar, the head is on the port side with a large hanging locker to starboard. I like to say it's designed as a livaboard for a couple with occasional guests. The downside is the lack of a good sea berth, always compromises.
