The locker to the right of the nav station is if I remember correctly is called the wet locker. It is really too small for wet stuff. Mine ends up in the shower.
Has anyone modified it for a better use, storage for charts or maybe some drawers or shelves?

I have my bolt cutters and hacksaw hanging in there I also keep spare engine oil, sorbant pads and my trusted foul weather boots in there its kind of a catch all space I think I even have a fish tape in there.

That little cubby is the "wet locker"??  that doens't make sense at all... the cabin sole extends up onto the hull there, like it does under the chart table... anything wet put in there would just drain into the little box beside the engine compartement and then on to the sole under the chart table/companion way before finding it's way into the bilges.. talk about messy.

I also use the shower as my wet locker. The cubby by the chart table is my "bosun's locker".

Wet locker! I would have never guessed.
Mine has an oil filter, fuel filter, raw water impeller, spare V-belt, couple quarts of oil, misc spare bulbs and some shop towels.  What do you got in there?

The POs put a microwave in front of mine, further reducing its access.  It has turned into a general catchall junk hole with everything from a ceramic space heater to fiberglass cloth suffed in there.  I dread actually having to get anything out of there.  The shower is definately a preferable wet locker.
