velvet drive tranny fluid

I've got a '79 4-108 with velvet drive, not the Paragon. Looks like it uses regular transmission oil as it's red in color. my question is, when I go the auto parts store to buy trans fluid, there are all types. which do i buy? Dextron lll ?

Yes, whatever the latest version of Dexron is available.
