INCOMMUNICADO

Ishmael, I have my 365 here in Jacksonville also. I had a new main sail made in 2005. I was quite pleased with the work that was done. I think the cost was about 1800 dollars. Sails Ect. 220 w. Kings St. Saint Augustine, FL. 32084 904-810-1966. Ishmael if I can be of any help let me know.

Thanks for the lead.  I also have one for a loft in Jacksonville - Wind Dancer Sailmakers.  I've yet to contact them but will let you know if they are reasonable.

Hello Ishmael and Allen,
Where in Jacksonville are you located? Berthed.

Island Dreamer is on the St. Johns at Julington Creek @ Holiday.
I didn't know there where any other 365's close by, your not listed on the known owners list kept by Seadragon.

Ishmael, good luck with the survey and purchase.

Hello Leo,

The Pearson 365 ketch we are surveying in named 'Matchmaker' and is on a mooring at the NAS Yacht Club.  We are having her surveyed this coming Sat with haul-out at Sadler Point.  My wife, Carol and I have been looking for a 365 for some months and hope that this is the one. If the purchase consumates we will be bringing her over to the West Coast to live in St Marks.

We already know a few things that will need attention including the mast step replacement.  I am told that Green Cove Marina would be a good place to have work done in advance of her move.  Any suggestions?

Ron,
Holland Marine is pretty good just make sure they follow your instructions and not what they want to do.

I had mine over there for blown hose.  Igave them a list of things I wanted done while they had it with some instructions on what I wanted they didn't exactly follow it. They are a little full of themselves in my opinion. I won't go into detail but I think they think they have you over a barrel because service marina's are far and in bewteen on the St. Johns.

Follow up closely with anything you have done. And, be prepred for the cost.

Leo, Imcommunicado is at Clapboard Creek Marina. We don't get up river that often but I have sailed a Morgan 35 out of there. Michelle and I would like to get the chance to meet you sometime. We try to take the boat out a couple of times a month, and make one of the trips a weekender. Last weekend was Coumberland Island, what an adventure.                                                       Allen
