Hi All,

Does anyone have a photograph of the Mizzen mast step (with the mast un stepped of course)?
I am trying to figure out how the water drains out.

Please post if you do.

Thanks,
Michael

I will be pulling my masts down in a few weeks (hopefully) to replace my standing rigging. I can take photos if you would like.

Hi Scott,
That would be most helpful. Thank you.
I hope you will post your experience as I would be very interested in following what you have to say.
Stainless steel or Dyneema?

Cheers.

Michael.

Im going back with stainless. Just the stainless rigging and fittings (im replacing all the turnbuckles, tangs etc.) is going to cost about $3200. Not sure on total cost from the yard crane and the rigger yet. I will be doing a complete rewire, replacing all antennas etc. I should be able to get you any pictures you want of that mizzen.

Sorry its taken so long to get this posted, hope it still helps. This is also before i got it all cleaned up. There doesn't seem to be any drainage holes in it. The pipe sticking up is aluminum and is fixed to the base. This is a photo after I washed a ton of dirt off that had collected in the base. At least 20 years worth.
