Heat Exchange bracket Universal 5444

Didn't like the old heat exchanger bracket, so I made a new one.

1/4" steel (not stainless, just normal steel, hot rolled, I think)

painted with POR15 primer and top coat (like the engine). I'll let ya'll know how well POR15 works in a few years.

Hx rests on two arms that are cut to fit the lower circumference of the Hx body. It is held in place by a single arm that swings down  and bolts to a tab welded to the only cross piece connecting the lower arms.

The bracket is bolted to the bell housing with the upper 4 bell housing bolts.
The arm reaching up to the exhaust riser holds the riser steady. I had problems with the engine vibration loosening the riser at the exhaust flange. With this arm, it should not move.

The Hx is cushioned at the contact points with split exhaust hose.
