This Pearson used to be mine TNT we sold the new name was Mariah it sold again now it's Luffinit. Still sailing Mexican waters but her time may be limited after an unexpected encounter with a whale. You can read about it on the Luffinit blog site
If I did this right if not you'll have to copy and paste the web link.

WOW! A real horror story with sea monsters!.... It sounds like it surfaced right underneath and got his tail stuck between the keel and rudder then panicked and thrashed about to get free. Hmmm....,Maybe there is something to be said for a full-keel boat!

I'll be watching for more entries to see how they make out. Must be an odd experience for you to see this occur to your previously owned boat.

Thanks!

We have kept in touch with both new owners.I did most of the upgrading and knew the boat inside and out. I can only imagine what's going through their minds right now. It is hard to see such a beautiful and loved boat hurt this bad.

Hopefully all will end well

first best wishes and hope it gets sorted out OK,
but sounds like the damage that befell pilgrim in Katrina,I undid the hull to deck joint and put in wedges to lift the deck relocated the internal bulkheads and replaced the heads front panel, looked like a long job but only took three weekends work, longest job was putting on the new cap rail and sail car track, all the best ocean pilgrim
