Overall length

Does anyone know what the total length of the 365 is?  My Marina is charging me for a 40 ft. boat because they say the bowsprit is 3.5 feet. I am not near the boat and can't verify that it is accurate.

My last slip was 36' and I stuck out a few inches but my bowsprit has been shortened/removed.  I'm probably 37' if I'm honest about things, so 40' for you is probably pretty close.  On the west coast, I've always been charged by the foot for transient (since you usually get an end tie) and they round up to the next largest slip (40') for permanent berthing.

According to the drawing that I have it is 36.5 feet without the bowsprit. I believe they want to rent you a 40' slip so that your bowsprit won't be a hazard to people walking to and from other boats. All the marina's I've spoken with in my area are asking me to rent 38'.

Our marina charges for the size of the slip you rent.  40 feet is a good size for the 365 with some room on the bow and stern for surge.

You need a forty foot slip going through the same thing myself looking for a new slip and its going to be 40 footer $380/month pluss electric.

I should have been more specific. I was actually talking about dry winter storage, so there is no need to round up to the next slip.

Where my boat is berthed, they let me get away with 38' (36' slip + 2' overhang allowed) *if* I took the anchor off the bowsprit.  The mizzen boom also adds a little length, so I think they were doing me a favor.  40' seems a touch long.
