Engine sound insulation

I agree.  Nice tidy engine installation.  Interesting to note the differences.  I have cutter hull #12, and I don't recognize the setup for the engine access door.  Yours looks different from mine.

I have engine compartment sound insulation that came with the boat, though it is getting a bit tattered.  Not sure if it is working that well.

Those tiles are really easy to work with, it comes out looking pretty good without half trying.  No difference whatsoever in the engine temp, as there is still a ton of ventilation aft of the engine where there is no insulation.  

Richard,   my engine access probably looks a little different because my boat has the quarterberth option.  That changed the engine compartment quite a bit.   There are photos of the quarterberth here  //http://pearson365.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=28
