What do you use for a tender?

I have a 2.6m Zodiac and a Yamaha 5hp 2 stroke motor
It fits on the coach over the hatch, or I have to tow it
Theres a bracket on the pushpit to hang the outboard on, and I could use the mizzen boom as a crane, but I dont have davits
not especially good with the dog though, I guess I didnt think that out enough

Id consider making a hard dinghy like a small catamaran with tall hulls that disconnect
In that way the hulls could lay against the lifelines and the deck onto the coach

theres an illustration of the sort of concept dinghy below and my Zodiac, just a lot smaller without the steering etc would be fine
