Pearson 365 Sloop $15,000

I am looking for a quick sale to avoid winter storage. The selling price is $15,000, this season. For a good solid P365 this is a good value. The boat needs some work. The hull is solid. The sails and deck gear are high quality and mechanically sound.

The mast is down for transportation. New mast step.

Ouch, that's not going to help resale.  At least it won't be on soldboats.com.  Should go quickly.

I am here.
I purchased the 365 mentioned in the subject line in October and have been following this group avidly. As for resale values, the 15K was a fair value for a boat that has been on the hard for 5 years with NO working systems. The sole has been torn out, the electronics are late 70's vintage. Even the navigation lights are missing. There is very little that won't need to be replaced ... What I bought is a strong hull and a dream.

I have to admit though, I have been encouraged by responses from knowledgeable sources such as Dale Tanski and Kevin Barber in this group.

If I am successful in getting her in the water this coming spring, it will be due in part, to the strong support this group provides.  I hope I'm able to give back in the same spirit.

She was named 'Enfin V' (french for 'at last 5') but I don't have what it takes to use that name on the VHF. She has been renamed 'Relentless'.

So far:
I've rebuilt the manual bilge pump
Ordered new sails Stack-Pack, Jib and 135 Genoa (she is cutter rigged with over 900 sq ft of sail)
Had a rigger down to look at the standing rigging, and ordered an install of a Tides System mast sail track.
Repaired the Rudder Skeg (See the posts in Non-mechanical section).
Replaced bent aluminum roll pin hinges in the hatches with stainless.
Replaced numerous 70 grade steel shackles, grab hooks and other hardware with 316.
Rebuilt and painted the heat exchanger.
Purchased a major kit for the Sherwood raw water pump

The engine runs, but is covered in rust and corrosion. The zincs were non-existent.
The boat is equipped with a  17" MaxProp, but the conical zinc had been replaced with a hand fabricated nylon one, and is heavily pitted.
The electrical system has been badly bastardized, and will require a complete rebuild. All battery cables are black.
What pumbing and wiring that exists looks like it came from the demolition of low cost housing center. There is even garden hose for water lines.

It was worth 15K, but not much more.
