Has anyone moved the mizzen sheet cleating location?

I am thinking of moving it aft to make access easier from the helm any thoughts!

The guy who did the paint job on my boat and raced a 365 all over the South Pacific said he had it moved to the stern rail.

You're talking the main sheet on the mizzen?  Mine is attached at the back of the cockpit by a wire to both sides and a beckett with a cam lock (I believe that's the right term) running from that wire to the boom.

Right behind your head and easy to access from the helm.

Can sorta of see it to the far right in this pic:  http://slokat.com/Wind%20Tamer/oxnardmorro01.jpg

So are you reaching for a beer there or is that instrumentation your reaching for?

That is just what I am looking to do what purchase do you have and is it enough?

I'm the other guy in that shot...

I'll get a better picture in a couple of days, the wires are connected to padeyes on the wood decking that are through bolted to backing plates, if I remember correctly.

Definitely strong and out of the way of other tasks, yet close at hand.

I like the mini-main idea you have going there, with the cam-cleat blocks. Mine is run forward to the mizzen, which makes it impossible to manage from the helm...
