Repawn

Hi all,
I have been lurking for a few months now and I finally have a bit of time to post.  We purchased our Pearson 365 in September of 2019 - it has been on the hard for at least the last three years.
This is our second sailboat - we are moving up from our Oday 22 that we have been sailing on Lake Michigan for the last five years - the family has grown as has our love of sailing so we jumped up to the much bigger boat.
Of course there are boat projects and we had been making some progress to get it in the water.  The boat is in overall good shape with mostly age issues. The good - new engine - has a Yanmar 3jh5e with 20 hours on it.  So that was a nice bonus.  The sails are in very decent shape (135 genoa, working jib, main and a spinnaker with pole) - they are at the loft getting new uv cover and cleaned - it has a roller furling main - the Hood Stoway system.  I had to get the motor replaced and the reduction gear rebuilt (not fun or cheap) but it is done - just need to get it reinstalled.
As far as the projects, the list is pretty intensive but we should get through it all hopefully in a year :) As of now we are working on all new cushions - the original 40 year cushions had developed a funk, we have new running rigging for the mainsheet, headsail furling line, outhaul and topping lift - the jib sheets are actually in good condition.  The winches have all needed service - there was a surprising amount of gunk in them - but they are cleaned and lubed and work great now.  There is a bunch more than that but that is a good start.
I appreciate that there is this great forum for our boats.
