I posed that question to the site and never really got any positive responses from anyone.
So I scrutinized interior photo's off of Yacht World.com for vents to see how other 365's routed the supply vent, and noted where the big return vents where.

My particular boat does'nt have a marine head or the holding tank any more. (composting head) so the starbourd side vee-berth storage under the cushions is wide open. Lots of room. That's the spot I'm going to use. I will also be able to use the plugged thru hull for the marine head as an intake without having to put another hole below the water line. That spot is also where I intend to place the raw water intake pump and filter.

I have also noted that under the Port side vee berth there is a shallower storage area, I'm going to unscrew the insert to see if that space is as large as the opposite side. That would be a spot to use also.

I don't have a lexan in the head that space has a clothes bin storage I'm not sure a unit would fit in there without cutting a hole in the cabinetry to install it.

Another spot I have surmized by photo's is the large hanging locker on the port side across from the head. I have seen huge vent grates installed in the lower portion of that door so I guess you may be able to fit one there. I didn't want to give up the big hanging locker.

My issues are where / how to vent  with the 6" diameter supply. I see most photo's only seem to have one large supply grate to the main cabin located in that big hanging locker facing into the cabin aft.

Most people I'm talking to say I need 3-4 supplies 1 6" and at least 2 4" due to fan noise. I think one to main cabin would be sufficient, and use my 12v fans to further circulate. Let me know anything else you learn especially in routing supply vents. Or unit size, I'm about to purchase a 10k btu Vector that I think will do the job based on my experiance with the 7500btu carry on I used in the Endeavour.

Stay in touch.

Leo,
I want to put a 12000 BTU AC in the starboard space between the shower and the hull at the forward end of the starboard settee berth.  One supply would run under the sink in the head to the V berth the other somewhere in the sea berth.  The return is a problem that I have not figured out. Some customized duck work may be the trick. Is this space available in your boat?  Let us know what you do.  It gets very hot in Charleston.

Thanks, Boykin

On Pandragon the AC unit was installed under the V-berth inside the area where the forward water tank used to be.  The tank was cut out and shelving as added inside.  The AC fits fine in there, with room to spare.  The return vent was installed on the lower portion of the v-berth, under the pull out insert.  The AC venting is ducted aft and exits the in the cabinets on the port side salon.  The duct takes up only a small space in the hanging locker.  The locker is still usable.

Loosing the extra 50 gals of water doesnt really make a difference to me.  I can make the 100 gals last a few weeks as it is.

If you can deal with loosing a little water storage, this may be the answer for you.

Sea Dragon's unit is in the storage area forward of the starboard settee. The drawer was removed and the face placed back in the cabinet. The drawer is no longer functional but the front has not changed. A self was built in the compartment and we still have storage under the compressor.

You can see the intake vent and controls as well as the exhaust vent in the 3rd & 4th pictures at the link below.

Boykin,

I'll take a look under the starboard (right) settee. One of my three water tanks take most of that space. The thru hull for the head is just forward of the right side water tank there's enough room fort the raw water pump and filter but I don't beleive there's space for the A/C unit but I'll go look.

Seadragons layout must be a little different. I have no storage forward of the starboard (right side) settee. There's enough room for the thru hull and some, then the shower wall. I didn't pay close attention to what space was available back towards the hull. I'll look, maybe there's a better spot for mine.

Garner,
I thought so...

I considered that space but I want every bit of that locker, As it is, I'm going to send the big 6 inch supply there for the main cabin.

The question is should I send it low below the door to keep the vent hose out of the way or cut a hole in the cabinet (facing cabin) like yours is. I'd rather put the control there instead. I also need to run an A/C outlet there in the same proximety There's only so much area to work with.
