A common three blade propeller with the 365 W40 was a 17X10 LHP.  You should be getting better speed at 2400rpm than you report.  Perhaps you have a Paragon transmission that is slipping.

I own nr 256 since she was launced in 1979 and  she does, when clean, 5.9 knots on 2000 revs. Your tachomtr may be incorrect, a slipping coupling is eaily cheched when moored a max thrust gives quite a wash.

Sea Dragon has an 17Lx11 three blade prop and we make about 6 knots at 2,000 rpms in flat seas. At 2,400 we make about 6.5 knots in flat seas.

So for us we rarely motor at over 2,000 rpms as this places our fuel consumption at a little over 1/2 gallon per hour.. See the second page of the following brochure for information on the W40.

So what is the recomended Cruising RPM of the W40? I still need to calibrate my new Tac....but on our last 90nm trip, we averaged 5.9kts at 2600 RPM going by my tac....but I know it is reading on the high side....

THIRD DAY also has the "standard" (if there was such a thing) 3-blade prop, but I haven't measured it.
