I need to remove the genoa t-track on the starboard side. Looks like getting at the through-bolt nuts up behind the nav station will be a challenge. Has anyone done this? Maybe its just a matter of using the right wrench.

Brian,

I've done it. Panel behind nav station will flex enough to get a wrench on the nut. Remove panel at rear of liquor locker. Squeezing yourself into that locker cabinet is the tough bit.
Hope you have long arms. Be sure to wear long sleeve shirt as the fiberglass will eat you up.

Good luck

Randy...what are you calling the liquor cabinet?  Is it the cabinet between the Quarter berth and the nav area...or the area to the right, where I have drawers and a cubby hole?

Removing the top few wooden slats from the nav station helps make the panel more flexible. Jam a block of wood in there to hold it open. Those nuts in the liquor cabinet are more difficult. You need one long arm.  A deep well socket with a universal on a 6" 3/8" extension with a  peanut racket worked for me.

The liquor locker is the one between the quarter berth and the nav station.
