Recently purchased a 365 that needs some updates, such as new battery charger, switches, misc. electronics, etc.  The prices I see advertised on the internet are much better than at the local West Store, but I don't know which internet sellers of marine equipment can be trusted?  Are there any good dependable mail order sellers?  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Try some of these, as they are well known, respected, have good prices and I have used them myself with great results:

http://www.defender.com (bought everything from a new dingy to fuel filters)

http://www.jackrabbitmarine.com (bought all new electrical panels and Battery charger)

http://www.bestboatwire.com (completely rewired my P365 Ketch with their wire and saved hundreds!!!!)

http://www.pyacht.com

I'm sure others will add their favorite online seller to the list, but with these 4 I think you could completely refit your P365 at the lowest cost possible...or at least, that's what I did!

Only use West Marine as a "gotta have it now" source and you will save Thousands over the life of your boat projects!

I have found a place that sells panels, wire in bulk, etc. and they are significantly cheaper than anyone else. They are Peter Kennedy Yacht Services (http://www.pkys.com)

I CONTACTED PETER KENNEDY ABOUT A NEW ALTERNATOR SYSTEM FOR MY 365.  PETER IS NOT ONLY VERRY KNOWLEDGEABLE HE IS A VERY PATIENT AND HONEST GUY.  HE HELPED ME ADD A BALMAR ALTERNATOR AND MULTISTAGE VOLTAGE REGULATOR.  HIS PRICES WERE ALSO VERRY GOOD.

If anyone is still looking for JackRabbit, they have closed down, apparently a victim of our current economic challenges.
