G10 Mast Step

I replaced my rusted mast step on my 1980 365 sloop with G-10 laminate. I only realized later that the grounding wires previously attached to the old mast step securing bolts, will not work with the new mast step.  G10 doesn't conduct electricity. Any ideas to what or where I could attach the grounding wires?

isnt the only choice to connect the mast to the bonding system which would have otherwise connected to the step?
