Good day All
Started leaking more oil than I like from the rear seal. Does any one have any feed back on the repair?  Has any one tryied some of the oil addative "stop leak" products? Engine runs great she just dumps oil. So I am not interested in repowering. But if I did what engine have some of you used?
Thanks

INCOMMUNICADO

Smart Move,This is a common problem with 107s/108s,I don't see any stop leak product that will work. The most practical cure is to replace the rear seal.I replaced mine (4-108) back in December not all that bad.Remove tramsmission bellhousing dampner plate oil seal cover replace seal reassimble.I took the nuts off the rear motor mounts so I could chain hoist the forward end of the engine up about six inches. While I the engine raised I made an oil drip pan to catch any leaks. If you need step by step instructions on replacing the seal there are a couple of web sites with tourks, seal size and replacement.(Perkins 4-108 replacing oil seal)Allen
