Good day all
I am replacing my old Motorola alternator with arco 60075. My old alt originaly had an external VR. The old Alt was worked on and was fitted with an internal VR witch changed the wiring some. The new Alt has a posative connection post. no issues. It has a connection post for the Tach. no Issues. It has a ground post and Exc post.

Proplem: There is a bundle of three wires that have one terminal. I have no clue were or what these 3 wire bundle should be attached too? Any help

Thanks for the feed back. I did not do a count on the different opinion but it looks like the ( and let me get this strait) the rear sling goes forward of the strut and over the prop shaft. Sound like a little extra work. The reason I asked is the guy I bout the vessel from used a totally different method, and I did not like it. Tried it on the end of the keel and did not like it.

The vessel came with some damaged fiberglass flooring in the corner of the galley and under the nave station. Because I thought the damage might have come from hauling the vessel at the very rear over the prop.

So after reading everyones comments, ( all educational thanks). My next haul will be strap forward of the strut and over the prop shaft.

Will still like to here more on the subject as I dint plan to haul till next season.
thanks all

In the diagram for lifting the 365 shows placing the rear lifting strap up at the prop. How ever I have spoken with 2 other 365 owners who do not use that placement. they us the very end of the keel ware it is narrow and hallow.  Can I please get some feed back on how you other 365 owners place the rear lifting strap?

Thanks that was how I felt but wanted a second thought. Now for haulling the boat. I have a digram that says to haul with the rear strap of the lifting rig to be placed under the prop. Yet I have talked to other 365 folks who don't do that. they place the rear strap down on the very end of the keel.

Were do you place the rear strap or shude this be a topic for discusion

If your bottom paint is good but you have blisters, Is there any reason to pull the boat for a new bottom job?

Good day All
Started leaking more oil than I like from the rear seal. Does any one have any feed back on the repair?  Has any one tryied some of the oil addative "stop leak" products? Engine runs great she just dumps oil. So I am not interested in repowering. But if I did what engine have some of you used?
Thanks

Good info on the u joint. I'll get on that one. As far as the shaft break, I have a "Sea Air " "automatic proplock". So old that I cant even find the company when I google them. System is simple and easy to work on. But I need to get some shoes for it. I think that they are go cart brake shoes. If any one has any info on the shoes that work on this system I'm all ears.

Now for my first ? What can anyone tell me about the 4107 injectors?
