hi,  I found a guy on eBay that rebuilt / replaced our autopilot,  last time I tried to email him to rebuild a spare one I got no reply, but here's his address,   maybe he's still in business?  I think it was $100 for the wheel/motor assembly, and $100 for the main panel.

hi,  we installed an Isotherm Compact 2501, air cooled unit,  in our 365 there's a little compartment where the trash can was, the unit fit in there.  we installed two registers for air to flow in,  then added a 120 vAC and1 2 vDC power supply so it can switch automatically from AC to DC when the boat's unplugged,  and added a DC panel so we can kill the DC when we don't want it to drain the battery.  it works great for the monster ice box in the 365,  I think it's 9cf,  the unit we got says it's good for 7 cf,  BUT we went with the bin model vs the flat plate (that can be bent into any shape you want)  because the surface area of the larger one (that's flat) is the same as the 7 cf bin.  it keeps the whole box in the lower 40's,  and stuff around the bin is in the mid 20's, keeps ice cold, but won't keep a pizza frozen.

if you need something in the 5 below zero range, you'll need a bigger refrigerator/freezer, but it may not be able to be air cooled???

hi,  while replacing the original bilge pump, I decided to replace the hose from the pump to the thru hull on the port side,  and discovered a "T" fitting with another discharge connected to it.  I assumed that was the connection to the head - sink/shower sump pump, but during another project discovered that is pumped thru a thru haull on the stbd side.  so what is "Teeed" into the bilge discharge line at the thru hull?

thanks,

hi,  last year our 4000T needed repair/replacement, and in the same boat you're in,  the 365 being too heavy for the 4000 replacement.   found someone on eBay selling one,  it turns out he overhauls them, the one he had listed was sold, but he had me send him my drive and head,  he turned them around for $100 ea. and they work as good as ever.  I'd provide the contact information now if I had it,  and I'm looking for it....  let me know if you're interested, and I won't stop looking,

hi,  I saw a Westerbeek bulletin with a schematic, and made a drawing that's easier to read of how we piped in our replacement hot water heater, (for the next time).   email me at greg4706@yahoo.com and I'll send it to you,

thank you Slokat,  we had a P-28 and was surprised that tank came out thru the sail locker, and was thinking that maybe they figured the tank in th 365 would have to be replaced as well,  I was having way too much fun this year anyway,  time for a job like this.  thanks again,

hi,  does anyone know if the 40(?) gallon fuel tank in a 1979 P-365 (hull 246) can be removed in one piece without having to remove the engine?  thanks,
