Hello Pearson Yacht Club,

It's been a very long time since I've posted, I am letting the forum know that I'm selling my Pearson 365 (hull#213). We are wanting to move into a larger boat when I retire later this year. I have it listed with yacht world on a open listing which allows me to sell it on my own. I will provide you two links for your review and consideration if you are interested. Should you have any further questions please reply to this post.

I stalled an AIS recently, a receive only unit. West Marine is having a closeout sale on a VESPER MARINE
AIS WatchMate for only $99.00 (marked down from $400). All you'll need dedicated AIS antenna or an antenna splitter, a receiver or receiver/transponder.

In some parts of the world you want to be hidden and receive info only.

You may have blisters on the walls within your water tanks that leach glycol into the water, glycol smells bad. Flushing  your tanks several times with fresh water and sanitizing them with bleach is a good ideal. If you plan to cook and drink your boats tank water, you must use appropriate water filters. I cut the top of the starboard tank took out the baffles and installed a plastismo bladder tank for cooking and emergency drinking water. I use bottle water for drinking. Good luck. Baron

I have a 44 pound Rocna anchor, you can check it out at rocna.com. I had a QCR and now use a  Bruce, fortress and hydrobubble anchors as a back up. The Fortress and hydrobubble break down so it is easy store.

I replaced the original small raw water intake filter with a larger see through filter, at times kelp gets in restricting H2O flow, then I will see stream. This is a indicator to check your filters.

I had problems with my steaming light. What was inside the mast after pulling it off the boat were lose wires and foam rubber placed every so many feet.  I re-rigged inside the mast with conduit and feed all new wires and included a pull teflon string. No more annoying slapping of wires at anchor. I also replace the mast step with a new stainless steel step and all new standing rigging. Hull# 213

There is plenty of room in the chain locker to mount a vertical windlass, i just installed a new but older Maxwell VW800 (4 inch version) vertical windlass. Now i just have to wire it up. I had to make a few modifications to the cleats and installed new stainless steel anchor rollers. I lowered the cleats several inches so that the chain would not hit the cleats. I made a spacer 2 7/8 thick for the windlass to stand higher than the cleats and to align it with the bow roller. So, i worked with a manual for well over 7 years and now happy to go electric, because of where i anchor. Baron

I had a problem with having to rebuild my sherwood water pump every other year until a found a service bulletin that said for my engine two use 3 gaskets to hold the water pump further off the engine, relieving the pressure on the main shaft and seal. Since doing this i have no further problems. Baron
