As many of you may know by now, Dosia is up for sale. I'm showing it for the first time on Thursday here in Tonga.

What I want to know is who bought this 365 cutter? It says on the main site of the broker that it sold. It's well stocked with stuff that's for sure. Hell, I've never heard of a swim platform on a 365. Someone was searching for it on the web and stumbled upon my site according to my google analytics report. I couldn't help but take a look at what they were searching for!

I do think it's hilarious that the Draft is still listed a 4'6". There's no way with all that stuff on board. I mean 2 outboards and 2 honda generators plus all that SS tubing on the back?!? Mine was 5.1' when I measured it by hand in Bora Bora a couple of months back and I don't have near as much stuff. I've risen 1.5" on the waterline since then by unloading a bunch of crap. I can't wait to see the difference in performance on the trip to New Zealand. Even with all the extra "pacific crossing" weight I've been able to pull some surprising speeds out of Dosia on passages. Continual 155 mile days and even a couple up in the 180's on the big passage last year. Those were kinda scary though! After gaining some experience out here I'm happy I didn't go with some heavy displacement boat like I wanted in the beginning. tayana 37, valiant 40, baba 35, hans christians, etc. They are all SLUGS. They need 20 knots just to get going. Even then, the performance isn't so hot in comparison. I can sail with 5-10 and I can sail with 30-35. I love the versatility.
