Hello all,
Just wanted to introduce ourselves (Barry and Terry) and our new-to-us 365 Pilothouse 'Gratitude', hull #23. Purchased from a wonderful man, Bob Reeder, we have just relocated her from Newport, RI to Little Creek, VA. A great trip and wonderful experience for the both of us. We look forward to sharing our experience and tribulations with this site.
We have a lot to learn about Pearson's in general, Pilothouse's in particular, and hope to meet with other owners in the lower Chesapeake bay area.
I am hoping for some advice on how to improve or at least get some control while backing up. I was hoping that between the keel and rudder there would be some stability and control, but for the life of me - I have not found it yet! She is equipped with a Max-Prop if that has anything to do with it. Any ideas would be truly welcomed.
Looking forward to reading any responses and posting's.

Welcome! We just returned from a 3 week cruise on Lake Superior on Deo Volente pilothouse #17. When backing plan on the stern going to starboard and try to work with it. I can only back up straight if it's into the wind. We have had ours for 20 years now and still love it.
Barry,
I too am at Little Creek. At Bay Point. Which marina are you moored?
