Has anyone recommendations for best material for waterproofing a bimini?

I have no personal experience to support it, but I remember reading somewhere that Thomson Wood Sealer sold in hardware and paint stores works well.
It might be worth checking out.

A lot of treatments attract dirt, Sunbrella recomends 303 Fabric Guard and West Marine sells it.
