Title: 4-107 Impeller Number ?
Post by: egoodhue on June 27, 2011, 10:34:10 PM
As a new owner I am learning the hard way. I left the seacock closed and ran the motor so now there is no water coming out of the exhaust. After I realized the issue, it was too late and with the seacock open still no water.  I probably cooked the impeller. I have a 1977 version of the 4-107 and after looking at the westerbeke parts lists I am confused as to which impeller number I need to get. Is it the 11906 kit? Looked at old threads here but was not able to confirm that number (Saw a sherwood reference for a pump replacement)
Thanks

I use Globe Impellers.   They claim to be able to run even dry for a little while.  I have not tested that claim but use them anyway.  Cost is slightly more but hey, it's a boat.
