Title: Projects

I've seen a few posts recently regarding changes and upgrades - a few of which I have tackled myself. Here a few pictures of my attempts:

1. Home made companionway door. I made this about 15 years ago - not pretty, but functional. There is a screen insert and a plexiglas insert, depending on circumstances.

2. Opened port and starboard water tanks (baffles were loose, badly blistered) and installed Plastimo bladder tanks.

3. Door over "wet locker" next to chart table.

Brian, What size plastimo bladders did you install? I'm looking to do the same. Any words of wisdoms?
Thanks

Roy,

I used the 52 gal. rectangular bladders. The main issue becomes capacity. There is no way to get 52 gallons of water in the bladders because they just aren't a perfect fit in the space.

Thanks Brian.   Did you do anything to the forward tank under the Vee berth?
