Title: GELCOAT repair
Post by: wedelstein on February 28, 2011, 08:16:16 AM
Does anyone have any ideas on hull gelcoat repairs. I have several scratches and docking scars. None of them are scrutchel but Some of them are beyound the gelcoat lever.  I know I must fill these and I have matching gelcoat. Should I deepen the smaler scratches before filling. How much preparation work is necessary?

It's great to be part of our community and I'm happy that I got to contribute. If you do some work perhaps you can describe/photograph for those of us who've not done the job yet.
