Title: Hull deck connection
Post by: Snboard976 on May 04, 2010, 06:08:43 PM
The hull deck connection on our boat is both through bolted and screwed.  I thought they were only screwed together.  Was this a factory option?  Does anyone else have the same type of connection?

Chad,

Our 76 Ketch has screws except for the area where the jib track is located.  Here they bolted the track in place.

Our first boat had an aluminum toerail throughbolted with 1/4" stainless bolts every 2". I'm pretty sure that was added later, we do miss it though. There was a lot of utility there.
