I went on to Defender's site this morning and did a double take. They have a deal on some new leftover 2007 Zodiac 6&8 man offshore liferafts. We have been looking around at rafts for awhile, now we have one. If somebody in the group needs one, this is a very good time to get it.

We ordered one last week as we planned to buy a used one before our trip to Mexico in 2011. New for the price of used can't beat it. If our plans fall apart I'm sure we can resell.
Ours showed up Wednesday. Zodiac put a dated sticker on the box that says it is recertified, but did not date the logbook. I called Defender and they said that I am not the only one with that problem. Zodiac is supposed to email me a recertification certificate for it. Our logbook showed a packing date of 2/5/07- which would indicate next repack 2/5/10. I think they are taking care of it, waiting on Zodiac now. Check yours when you get it.
