Wow,
You don;t have a 1979 Pearson 365. You have a 2008/2009 Pearson 365!!! Sounds like you are a pretty handy person. You will appreciate this most when a light blinks or a circuit dies in the middle of the night in the middle of an ocean.
Oh....get those photos up....we would love to see them.
Welcome Aboard,
I also have a hurricane Pearson 365. Hull # 292 hit by huricane Ike.
Mine sounds like it got off lucky in compaired to yours.Would love to
see some pics it sounds like you have been very busy.My to do lists are
still very long.Just got it in 1/10/09.If you ever get to the south west coast of Florida look me up and I'll buy you a cold one. After all your yacht was right next to mine on the assembly line and they both met up with hurricanes.Once again welcome aboard.
Welcome Graeme,
did you import the boat in the UK ? did you have to go through CE conformity ?
I'm looking to import Zaya in the EU.
Thanks for any advice.

The pictures are amazing. Did you do all the work yourself? Where did you get your experience? Did you work for a boatyard?
Brilliant!

I did also look for the possibility's to because the one and only Pearson I thit find in the Netherlands wasn't a bargain but available and well looked after. About 15.000 Euro was the price they did offer me to transport it to the Netherlands. And no as long as you don't sell it you do not need the CE conformity. As far as I know you need it when you want to sell this boat because it was not in the EU before a certain date, 1998 or so , please do not pin me down on this date you have to studied law school. To get this EU conformities there are companies who are willing to help you to get it against the right fee. think about a couple of thousands euro's more. But this is only the matter when you want to sell this boat. Mine is official imported in 1979 to the Netherlands, we had actually a official Pearson rep. here in the Netherlands who sold three Pearson's a 28 a 33 and a 365 as far as I know. I do not need the CE Conformity because of this early import. Here in the Netherlands the age of the boat is of no matter but when it was here so a boat built in 1979 but imported at 2001 will legally be treated as a 2001 boat, and has to have the right paperwork for that year. I do not know if this is the same in the hole EEG.
By the way she is a beauty
