Anyone have the Monitor windvane system on their boat?

If so good, bad, thoughts!

I am watching for a good used windvane too, an Aries or maybe a Cape Horn.

If you have been following Zac's blog, you'll see he has had a lot of problems with his Monitor.
I have a Fleming but don't have enough hours on it to comment.

Yes I have one, though she is also new to me and we don't have enough hours together to pass comment, she'll wiz away in a strong blow and then sudenly stop which is when I look up in panic to see if she's still attached or has the blade departed the body and is skipping across the waves [she gets me every time].

The little red light underneath changes from On to Flashing to Off and back again as if it can't make up it's mind, I have yet to discover why. Everything about my 36 Cutter is new to me so I am sorry I can be of no help this time.

I have to admit I am just Loving finding new things out about her.

PS Looking for a Club foot as mine has been removed to stow a Dinghy---_/)
