How many gallon(s) of bottom paint do you general use for a single coat, applied with a roller?

I use a little over a gallon and a half to apply two coats of paint using a brush to cover the areas I can't reach with a roller.  It seems to need the second coat to fill in and smooth out the coverage.

Thanks for the quick feedback.

The reason I ask is that I've been billed at 2 gallons for a single coat at $360/gallon.  I seem to remember it requiring slightly less than a gallon for one coat on a 365, which comes close to matching your data.

Any other input from the group would really be appreciated.

I'm not sure I'd normally chase somthing like this down, however some other billing "irregularities" have made me take a closer look at the final tally.

I just put two coats on Phantom and used just shy of two gallons.  I have used West Marine CPP+ for two years and have been very pleased in Texas waters.
