I check on this board almost every day and as of late it has been very very quite. I know for us northerners it is the end of the season and we are busy putting our boats to bed for the long cold winter. As for you southerners the hurricane season is winding down and coming to an end. For you the wind is about to come back and your season will be in full swing. For those of you in between so to speak, you have yet another season depending how far north or south you are.
I hope we didn't lose any boats during the past storm season. I am always curious on how owners ended up after a bad storm. We have had several customers lose boats over the years which can be a bad thing and for others a good thing.

Ok, I will go first. I have a hand full of projects going on. I live in the deep south so the work can continue year round. The project that I'm in the middle of is my fuel manifold / filter project. Its cost way more than I expected but coming along well. I plan to mount this on the inner wall of the port side cockpit locker. It will be glassed and painted before install. With my manifold I can (1)allow the mechanical fuel pump to pull fuel through the filter and into the engine, which is the normal state. (2) allow the electric fuel pump to push fuel to the engine past the mechanical fuel pump. I also can use this setting to prime. (3) I can set it to polish fuel directly back into fuel tank. (4) and last last, I can pull fuel directly from the engine into jerry cans via the electric pump. I'm no plumber or fuel tech so be gentle on me here. I also installed a vacuum gauge to show how clogged the filter assembly was.

Just an update to keep a little activity on the board.. Finished the fuel rail and installed! Already polished the fuel with it! It doesn't take up much space, and changing the filter now is a breeze. The only con is see to what I have setup is the potential for someone to accidentally move a valve handle while getting something out of the cockpit locker. I put tie wraps on the handles that shut down the engine feeds. Trying to come up with an easy fix for that.

Yep its port side. I thought I was doing this on the cheap using a Racor 500 knock off. It was the fittings that cost the $$.
Very nice. Did you through-bolt the panel? If so, how are the bolts finished on the other side?
