Title: Propane tank valve question
Post by: CaptCG on July 20, 2021, 10:32:02 AM
My 1980 365 has 2 propane tanks lying horizontally in the aft / center cockpit locker. They are connected such that when one empties I can switch to the other tank. Now I want to refill the empty tank.  QUESTION:  What direction does the brass nut turn to remove the nipple frm the tank?  Doesn't want to budge either way and I don't want to strip the threads.  I forgot since its been awhile.
Thanks,
Carl

Got it. Left equals tight.  Opposite of "lefty Lucy,....."
