I have a mizzen staysail, that came with my 365. Is the anyone who can school me on the use of this sail? What are to connection points on the boat? What type of connection is used on each point? How do I setup and raise my staysail? What are the general wind limits and tacks used on? Pretty much explain it to me like im five, but still understands the technical side of it.
Ive google-fu'ed the heck out of the topic, but just cant find any info.
See attached picture. You should have a 2nd halyard on the mizzen for the sail. Tack attaches on the windward side of the cabin top or you can use a windward stanchion base. Sheet for the clew runs through a block on the end of the mizzen. Flown windward of the main and leeward of the mizzen. Gotta strike it when you tack or gybe or you'll have a mess on your hands. Great sail and one of the chief reasons for owning a ketch... Cheers!
@S/V Amity Nice pic! Shows it well.
I only flew mine once.

One place I browse through if want to see how other 365's are set up and where the picture of the miz. staysail came from is here: https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=pearson+365&qpvt=pearson+365&FORM=IGRE .
Cheers!
Scott, Attached is a line drawing of the sail plan from the Bing site.
