Have a bad breaker in the original "Pearson" panel.  Are these breakers still available?  Thanks.

Yes...
They are/were made by Carlton Breaker company.  Carlton is the same company that Blue Sea uses and ANCOR.  The only thing you have to know is amperage and color of the handle. The handles come in White, Black and Red.  Hope this helps.

  Perfect!  Thanks Dale.

Have been chasing gremlins in my electronics which are all on that one breaker (for now).  Sometimes they'd power up, sometimes not.  Turns out that breaker has an intermittent and sometimes a high resistance fault.

hi guys.  I had problems on HakaLe too.  a couple of breakers went bad and the plastic was so old it was just falling apart.  Plus, I really needed another ac breaker for the air conditioner.  here is what I did.  Both the AC and DC panels are blue seas brand.  The DC panel didn't have a main breaker so I switched the top one with a 50 amp breaker and cut an inch of the buss bar.  The buss fuse panel I made from a small piece of aluminum and just spray painted it.  Those fuses are 1 amp for the back lights, volt, and amp meters       hope this helps

  Thanks for the info. Charolotte94!

My task right now is to just get the "electrics" operating for the time being.  As the boat is new to me this spring, I'm still sorting through systems to see what's serviceable and what isn't.  Will be replacing the panel at some point but my major projects are replacing the standing & running rigging and replacing the chain plates.  She'll be hauled in a couple of weeks and the masts will be pulled.  Couldn't get inside storage so will be working through the winter under shrink-wrap.

Interesting to note on the breakers in my panel: none of them have amperage markings on them.    Cheers!
