Title: temp sensor
Post by: Rudderly Confused on November 13, 2017, 08:49:07 PM
Am I correct in assuming that this is the sensor for the water temp gauge?  If so, is the sensor specific to the W40, or is a generic type part?

Please disregard the previous post. That was a temp sensor for the old Aqualarm high temp alarm.  The sending unit for the temp gauge on the instrument panel is on the aft end of the engine, next to the thermostat housing, as seen in the attached pic.  The wad of tape is there to mark the location.
