Title: Tank gauge
Post by: CaptCG on October 02, 2017, 04:19:20 PM
Hello All,  Has anyone installed the "Tank Tender" system ( or ?) for monitoring fuel level in the tank?  The idea of looking through a small porthole in the floor of the cockpit is rediculous!
Thank you.

Agree, the little port is ridiculous, I'm thinking of replacing the port with a screw top deck plate and using a dipstick to check fuel level, easy and reliable, don't have to worry about another electrical thingy.

The fuel gauge is mechanical. Mine is  a bit of a nuisance because the glass is scratched. I pour a bit of water on it and it's clear as.........glass.   8)
How often are you checking fuel?
