Post by: JMB on October 23, 2015, 03:47:28 PM
Here are the results of a winter project to deal with wet head floor and to generally make the head and shower much nicer.

nice work, John!

is the main floor grate a two-piece for easier removal?

Chris - No it is a single piece - easy to lift up when winterizing..

I bought a bamboo grate for the head at Bed Bath and Beyond. $20. Pretty good fit right out of the box.

Looks nice John. I always disliked having to remove all those screws in the panel in the shower, so I glued it to a piece of plywood to make a door. There is a lot of wasted space that I now use to store bulky items like extra paper towels and toilet paper. It was a winter project too.
