The below photo shows 2 Zarcor seats that are easy to install. More importantly, they provide visibility while sailing without having to stand all of the time to see over the pilothouse.
They are also a great place to sit while at anchor as you get the breeze typically blocked by the pilothouse.

What do you have for gauges in your binnacle instrument cluster?
"How do you see" is one of the most asked questions. When sailing I often am sitting on the coaming, and you can see through the windows... Every Pilothouse I've seen has a step platform of some sort behind the wheel.

The seats do fold up but there is a leg that would be in the way - I leave them down and can easily move about in the cockpit. They are easily removed for winter, with 2 thumb screws. I also added the padding for the back.
The instruments are Raymarine ST-60 tri-data depth/speed/log, wind and autopilot. On top is an older Raymarine RC435i Chartplotter. Inside there is a Raymarine C-80 Radar/Chartplotter
As far as visibility, the boat came with a teak cockpit grate with a slightly raised section at the wheel. I added another raised platform so my wife felt more comfortable at the wheel while motoring. But sailing and sitting in those seats is really an improvement, in my opinion, from sitting on the comings, which I did initially. I really don't need to look thru the windows.
