Title: Anchor Platform - New Design
Post by: P69 on September 21, 2015, 01:03:57 AM
I'm designing a new anchor platform to carry two 45 lb mantus anchors and headstay moved fwd 20  inches. Just mock-up now, still sorting out the details. Currently, I have a factory-installed tube platform that extends 24" fwd of bow. New platform will extend about 36" fwd of bow and both anchors will self-launch (stbd  with windlass, port manual, no windlass). Rode for both anchors will stow in bow, mostly below waterline, where the water tank used to be.  The fwd half of space used by water tank will be the anchor locker area (tank already removed)
