When rewiring, which is better: primary or duplex? I'll be replacing s lot of wiring and don't know if I should use duplex cable or pull s pair of primary conductors or maybe a combination.
Thanks
I would recommend duplex. Duplex keeps all of the conductors for the given circuit in one nice neat package so to speak. The outside jacket also adds protection against abrasion.
If you really want to go all the way I would run your DC circuits in BLUE jacket duplex and your AC circuits in White jacket triplex. The BLUE jacket duplex has red and yellow conductors which is the new standard for DC circuits. RED being positive and YELLOW would be negative. Running BLUE and WHITE jackets allows you to instantly identify what's what in your bundles.
BLUE jacket is not the easiest to find. If you have a problem finding a supplier just let me know I can help.

I would also recommend duplex or triplex or whatever is needed to have one run point to point. This is standard for all the wiring I do on aircraft and is MUCH better from all the stand points mentioned above by Dale. Tis kinda a pain to get specific wire for each run but can save pain in the future.

Thanks Dale and Wayne, I'll get duplex/tri
I appreciate your input.
