LOL, I am busy getting our boat ready!!

Launched from Green Cove Springs Marina today.  Back in Jacksonville this evening..  Will be loading the boat up to head for Cuba, Panama, Galapagos and the South Pacific.  Leaving `Dec 7th or so.

It was a trip today to splash the boat after a new bottom job, overhauled V-drive,  overhauled kiwi prop, new shaft, overhauled stuffing box, and have everything work just fine after being in the yard for 5 months.  (Esp when I did most of the work my self.   Thank you all for all your help!

Cheers!
Wayne

Wayne....maybe you have a moment for a question.  After having my 1978 Pearson ketch travel at 2.9 mph at 2000 rpm for tow day trips, I finally know the problem.  Leaving for a weekend in Dunedin, the forward gear just stopped.  Goes in reverse but no go ahead.  I need to have the Paragon SAOD repaired or replaced.  There is a lot of info on the blog about not being able to find parts for a repair.  I tried to remove the tranny but I do not know the trick.  Do I have to move the engine?  I was hoping not to have to mess with the v-drive.  Any words of wisdom?
