Does anyone have a source for the small blue Pearson vinyl logo that go on the cabin? Both of my are in poor condition.
No body seems to know of a source but any sign maker could make a decal and then you could sell the overrun to cover the initial cost. The decal could be used for many applications. I know several sources and could get an estimate. Let me know.
If someone could take a good picture with dimensions a vinyl guy could make them as well. Mine were very bad when I bought the boat and I removed them when I painted the deck. I would be interested in two myself in black. Any one have them in nice condition?

I would like a couple for the boat and maybe even one for my car.

I think I have one as a decal or sticker. It's at the boat, but I'll check it out.
Vinyl? Decal? I have Pearson logos either side but mine are raised artwork at least .030". Always assumed they were in the gel coat and part of the mold. Painted over but if you sand down they are highlighted in blue.
I have a pair of chromed Grumman wing badges that I put up. Always gets the attention of a few of the retired Grummanites that hang around our marina. Grumman did build that boat. When Northrup bought Grumman that was the end of Pearson too.

All,
Go to SailingSeaDragon > Manuals and scroll to the bottom of the page. Below the last updated time stamp you will see three (3) small out of the way links Logo1, Logo2, Logo3. These links are to old "dealer" Logo sheets They are in poor shape but maybe someone can work with them. Logo 3 maybe just what you are looking for....

Logo 3 it is.
Mine measures 3 1/2 inches wide and 1 inch high from the bottom of the text to the top of the Trident.
Those are the ones I have as well. Faded almost to obscurity. I would be interested in 2 of them. I think it would be best if they were 2X that size. Let me know if anyone is buying a run and I would chip in for it.

My boat lettering guy up in Canada says it would have to be color printed. Not sure why it could not be cut out of blue vinyl. A software issue with him I presume. Sounds like a job for 3D printing. Molded in blue plastic. Like what's on the Catalinas. They would not fade.
I still believe early on (my boat is from an early production run Hull #6. ) the logo was part of the mold. My logo is raised molded lettering. Like the non-skid. Not a decal.
Related: The place that was molding hull # plaque in bronze. Are that still around ?

We would be interested as we'll, if someone is getting an order. Ours appear to be a decal of some sort. Also faded and peeling. Not raised. We also have the bronze plate, but that's in good shape.
I am working with a vinyl sign maker here in the Buffalo area. They seem to think it will be no problem at all to make them. The first thing they are going to do is to digitize the image that was posted in this thread. I will cover the cost of that procedure.
Once digitized that image can be made in any size and any color. The trident would have to be made solid in lue of the outlined version unless it was relatively large.
After it is digitized the image could also be placed on anything. I just had our store logo digitized and we then used it for our business cards and had it embroidered on shirts and jackets.
Once I find out more of the details I will let you all know.
Good Sailing...

Ok...
I stuck the logo's on our Obersheimer Sailor Supply web site as follows - http://obersheimers.com/vinyl-pearson-yachts-logo-2pk/
Cut and paste that into your browser and take a look.
We can do embroidery for shirts and jackets as well.
Good Sailing...
