Title: refrigerator lids
Post by: John Z on July 17, 2013, 04:34:24 PM
I'm having a heck of a time sealing the lid to my freezer. I have tried replacing the gaskets but still get condensation which leads to icing especially at the forward port corner of the box. Any suggestions?
Thanks
John

I replaced my countertop a couple years ago and found a significant air gap in one corner of my freezer. Since I have the Pilothouse version the galley is different, but the way it is constructed is quite similar. With the counter off of course it was easy to fill voids. I'm thinking a couple small holes drilled horizontally under the counter would let you squirt some non-expanding foam in there.
