Rich,
With your help I'm finally on line here and have to add to older comments about what a valuable service you've provided to boat owners, Pearson and otherwise.

I am new to boats and this site helped convince me my initial 'old' boat purchase was a good one.  I've since learned many lessons (the hard way) and hope I can add to the knowledge base here.  I think I'll title most of my entry's along the lines of Flying magazines "I learned about flying from this".  I already have some confessions of poor judgement that might be evident as my questions about bow rails, pulpit rebuilding are posted!

I'm a do it yourself person for the most part so thank you to all who have shown me the many ways I can keep myself busy getting ready for the ocean crossing that may, or may not, happen....but will be anticipated none the less.  For now she's a great home on the water.

Welcome Dave,
I have hull number 65, just ahead of yours on the assembly line.

Barry,

Thanks for the hello.  I'm in N.England (Grantham NH) from time to time.  Is your cutter up North here?  Interesting history there I bet; once a ketch now not a ketch.

I'm having fun still finding where lines and hoses and electrical connections connect.  Good news is the engine (a Nanni retrofit) got me from the keys to Lighthouse point despite a couple of years of neglected maintenance on all systems.  Mast step is due for 'the' fix, along with some bow repairs from my sudden docking in Ft. Lauderdale on my maiden trip from the keys.  Thank goodness for the teak in the pulpit - took a good deal of the impact.  Long story but dehydration and fatigue will be my excuses for that abrupt landing!

I'm in Weymouth, MA on the south shore of Boston Harbor. There a quite a few 365's in the area. Several people have mentioned a regatta, but it hasn't happened yet. If you're in the area this coming summer I can get you a transient slip at my yacht club, or a sail on a 365 sloop if you don't have Jeanie with you.  Just drop me a line a week or so in advance.

Barry,
Thanks for the news of more 365's, Weymouth and the invite.  As I dig into our necessary maintenance items I hope to avoid "shipwrights" disease and have her together and sailing before long...i.e. February or so.  We'll watch the weather to see when Weymouth unfreezes!

Thanks Garner, I know that is a bit of a pain for you, but there was a lot of crap getting through.
