As we prepare the boat for offshore, I am reminded that the two stock drains would be inadequate in the event of a wave coming aboard.
Has anyone added another pair? What size? Where do they drain to? It seems that it would require two more thru hulls and seacocks. Not a fan of more holes in the boat but not sure what else there is. Ideas?

Talk to Allan on Incommunicado.  He's the only one I know who has done this.  He glassed in tubes from the rear of the cockpit straight through to the transom using stock parts.  I believe 2 "

We've sailed 14k miles now and have only been boarded 2X.  That said, both times were slow to drain.  Between that and the non-sealing locker lids, I would be worried about running in a breaking wave storm.
