Anybody suffer any damage or loss with Irene?  From what the news has said damage to marinas was not all that bad.  Are you all OK out there?

Hi All!
Well to say I was concerned is a bit of an understatement. Windrider is moored at what my club calls "stakes". It is infact tied up fore and aft between two pilings in the middle of the Branford River just east of New Haven.
I removed all the canvas, sails and made sure that anything that could move was tied down.I turned the boat up river in anticipation of Irene delivering North East  winds.  I doubled up on my mooring lines and did the best I could to protect against chafe. Looks like I did good. The boat was still on the stakes, and from what I could see from the dock it was all in one piece.
I'll get on board tomorrow and get a closer look.

Hope everyone made out as well as I did.

We are faired great at the lower end of the Chesapeake Bay. We were all pucked up tight before the storm. Glad she was downgraded.

A 365 Pilothouse sank at its dock at Whittaker Point Marina in Oriental NC.   I think this is the newest and most exposed site in Oriental.  The plastic cockpit drain through-hull was abraded off against the piling.

Long winded at its storm mooring in Norfolk came through fine. It did not shake anything off the navagation table. My dock and service did not do so well. The service boat had to be replaced. The dock rebuilt. Both did fine through numerous storms.

Lasy ella a 1981 model ketch rubbed the cap rail We replaced 5 feet last week.

Several other P 365 boats in the area did well.
