Hi...I had the Perkins on my 1976 Pearson 365 rebuilt and am now in the Bahamas, after motoring 80% of the way from Tampa (uncooperative winds and seas!). The motor is throwing oil everywhere...coming out of the air intake and at head gasket, etc.  Really a problem, as ma going through lots of oil.  My thoughts are that I need to break out the engine manual and re-torque everything, but I do not know why I would be getting oil up through the air intake...but, I dis not notice a foam filter as I had on a other Perkins.  Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I'm inclined to agree that it at least needs retorquing. It may be too late, and the head gasket may need replacing. It's likely the combustion pressure is leaking into an oil passage causing high crankcase pressure.
